The cool, sunny weather continues. Oxford County Fair had good weather most of the time. Again this year I was in the information booth near the back entrance across from the race track. Many friends stopped by to say "hello." Programs and maps of the grounds were available to help people locate the exhibits, eating booths and the events.
At the West Paris Universalist Church on Sunday, Sept. 26, the Rev. Richard Beal will lead the service on "Seeking and Finding Depth" at 9 a.m. Jim Berk is organist. A coffee hour follows. Craft classes are being held at the church Wednesdays at 1 p.m.
Bruce Thayer of Norway had Sunday dinner with Vince and Beverly Stevens.

The traffic is getting thicker on Route 26. Every time I go out 219 to 26 I have to wait for several cars. Many cars speed by my house to the village. The motorcycles are especially noisy. This quiet little town is no longer quiet.
Leaves are beginning to color and turn brown and have started to fall. Muffin enjoys watching them dancing around the driveway and lawn. She acts as though she would like to chase them.
