Allen Bodwell

Allen Robert Bodwell, 79, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at his residence on Pine Street, Andover, Maine.

He was born June 9, 1933 in Rumford, Maine and was the son of Harold and Eva (Damon) Bodwell. He graduated from Andover High School Class of 1957 and had served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1958.

Allen worked at Andover Wood Products for many years retiring from the Sawing Department.

He was a member of Napoleon Ouellette Post 24, American Legion; member Maine Snowmobile Association; member Snow Valley Sno-goers Snowmobile Club; a member of the Roxbury ATV Club, and a member of Pineland Ski Club.

Survivors include his sister, Ruth Hilton and husband Russell “Dusty” of Andover; niece, Joscelyne Hilton and companion Craig Silva of Lebanon, Maine; nephew, Jason Hilton and companion Tracey Jean of Lebanon, Maine; great nieces, Emily Silva and Zoe Hilton of Lebanon, Mane; and a great nephew, Jacob Hilton of D’lberville, MS; and was predeceased by his parents and a brother, David Bodwell.
