A beautiful sunny morning on this Friday, Feb. 15 with beautiful blue skies. The birds are busy and enjoying this spring-like day.

Condolences to the families of Elizabeth (Betty ) Smith, John Cox IV, Norman Cyr, Priscilla Bean, Phyllis Corson, Lyman Wing, William O. Brown, Jr., Lucy Ray and Robert Kerr. Our thoughts and prayers are with each family member on the loss of their loved ones.

Get wishes to all of those who are still fighting these awful colds and flu.

A very speedy recovery to Wm. (BJ) Moreau who underwent heart surgery this past week. He is a patient at the Bangor Hospital.

We were lucky and did not lose our power during that big snowstorm and thank God it was not that heavy, wet snow.

The deer have been busy daily traveling through our back yard.

I love the days getting longer and within a few short weeks we will begin to see the buds popping on the trees and the flowers beginning to show signs of new life.
