Hello Andover friends. There was a big turnout for the egg hunt last Saturday. Thanks to all who showed up, the more the merrier for the kids!
Please keep Robert “Bob” Hutchins in your get well wishes and prayers. He has been in and out of the hospital recently, thought that he might be home for Easter but didn’t make it.
Summer ball signups for T-Ball, Co-Ed Farm Team Baseball and LL Girls Softball are underway. AES kids brought home signup forms on Friday. Signups are being held until April 16. Forms can be picked up at the Town Office, Andover Library, Andover School, and the stores. Please return them to the Rec. Committee at the Town office or Andover School. Team determination will be based on signup numbers.
For kids interested in Babe Ruth Baseball, LL Baseball, or Farm Team Softball, Andover kids can play on teams through the Greater Rumford Community Center. Any registration fees assessed to play at the GRCC will be reimbursed through the Andover Recreation Committee. Coaching for T-Ball and LL Softball is needed. Keith Smith and Bob Chase will be coaching Farm Team baseball.

This coming Monday, April 12, the School Board will hold its meeting at the Andover School. Andover residents please try and attend to show your support for keeping the school open. It will be at 7 p.m. in the gym.
A reminder that Tuesday, April 13, will be the Telstar softball team’s next fundraiser, the Harlem Rockets Basketball and comedy show, at the High School. Doors open at 5 p.m. or you may get tickets in advance at any of our schools (Andover also).
I would like to thank the Andover families who donated their bottles and cans toward the softball trip, it was greatly appreciated.
Enjoy the weekend.
