Margaret Mitchell, our sesquicentennial's grand marshall, reports that her long-time friend, Irving (Tex) Fogwill, has passed away. Many of us have fond memories of Tex and his falcons and offer condolences to his family.
Margaret will be spending the winter in New Hampshire this year. She and her daughter, Jackie, will be living in the same complex, but in different units. Margaret seems quite happy about her move even though it's been a few years since she's experienced New England winters. It's nice to have you closer, Margaret.
Don't forget the hunters' supper will be on Nov. 20 at the Ladies Aid Building. The potluck supper will start at 5 and it'll cost $7. There's little doubt that it'll be worth the money. If you're broke and hungry, maybe the members of the organization will trade supper for washing dishes -- worth a shot maybe.
Very wet and rainy this Monday morning.
Hopefully we'll enjoy a few dry days this coming week. Enjoy! Selah
