Woodstock Senior Citizens will meet April 4 (today) at the Fire Station at 11:30 a.m. Dinner by Daughters of Union Veterans, Program by Diane York on “Garden Bugs and Pests.” New members always welcome.
Whitman Memorial Library program for April will be Thursday, April 11, 2 p.m. Jennifer Locke will be guest speaker. Ms. Locke will talk about Mandala Art, which is currently on display at the library. A hands-on lesson will be given on this circular form of art. Public invited, no charge, light refreshments.
Services at the Baptist Church are Sunday school at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30 a.m., Evening Service at 6 p.m. Sunday, April 7, Mike Viscome from Gospel Text Mission will be Sunday evening speaker. He will be giving out Scripture signs.
The Woodstock Historical Society will meet on Saturday, April 13, at 6 p.m., at the Town Conference Room. Joyce Howe will talk about “Earlier Days of Woodstock.”
Town Meeting was quite well attended. The Wind Ordinance took longest with some discussion on Property Maintenance Ordinance and Fireworks Ordinance. Most money matters passed quickly.
Judith Grover tent 17 DUVCW will meet on Monday, April 8, at the Grange Hall at 7 p.m.
