Carol, President of the Ladies Aid Association, asked me to extend a thank you to all the patrons who came to the Ladies Aid breakfasts this past winter. The Ladies are going to take some time off from serving breakfasts. Their next scheduled breakfast is Mother's Day. We, the patrons, thank you, Ladies, for all the great breakfasts and the place and opportunity to socialize during the winter.
Deborah Judkins e-mailed to let me know that this year is the 100th anniversary of the Ladies Aid Association. Great Grammy Bertha Judkins was one of the Ladies that signed the incorporation papers. She was also elected as secretary.
