ST. NEVER'S DAY SALE
Once more the Bethel Historical Society will be holding its annual St. Never’s Day Sale this year on Saturday, May 25, on my side lawn, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. under two tents. This is an important and popular fundraiser for the society. As the disappearance of winter brings on for many people the urge to begin their annual spring cleaning, it is always good to have places to dispose of one’s “treasures” in good condition that they no longer need or want. Items such as housewares, tools, furniture, etc., are being sought for the sale. Please no clothes, tires, or obsolete computer equipment.
Donations for the sale may be left off at the back porch of the society’s Robinson House at 10 Broad Street or my side porch at 18 Broad Street at any time. If it is necessary to request pick-up, please call the society at 824-2908 to make arrangements.
Any support (items and/or volunteer assistance) that can be provided for this longtime community event will be greatly appreciated.
