The Upton Ladies Aid Association will host their second annual “Krystal's Carnival” Saturday, May 18, 1 to 4 p.m. The carnival is a fun time for toddlers and kids to sixth grade. They can play age- appropriate games and win prizes. The carnival will be in the school. The ladies will have homemade snacks and treats available to purchase in the Ladies Aid Building. This year is the 100th anniversary of the Ladies Aid Association. They are looking for pictures of the founding officers. Do you have any pictures of Bertha Peaslee, Ida J. Warren, Lettie (Chase) Douglass, Bertha Lillian (Morse) Judkins, or Mary Chase? If you do have some that you will share with the Ladies, please call Deborah at 533-2331.
Some members of the Upton Historical Society will help with spring cleanup at the historic home of Louise Dickenson Rich. They will meet at the Upton school, Saturday, May 18, 7 a.m. They will carpool from there to Forest Lodge. Meet them at the school if you would like to join them. Please bring rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, or any other tool that you think you may need and use. Do not forget bug repellant! The Society will have their May meeting Sunday, May 19, 1 p.m. at the school.
Upton Union Church will be holding worship services starting Saturday, May 19, 5 p.m. Reverend Jane Rich will again be serving as summer pastor.
