Sherrell A. Bartlett
Sherrell A. (Cackett) Bartlett, 52, of Spring Hill, Fla., formerly of Rindge, N.H., passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Sherry lost her courageous battle with lung cancer, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Fitchburg, Mass., on Feb. 23, 1961, the daughter of Reginald and Evelyn Cackett.
Sherry was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a charter member of the Advent Lutheran Church in Rindge,N.H. Before moving to Spring Hill she was employed as a paraprofessional caring for her special friend, Amy, and many others at the Rindge Memorial School for many years.
On Aug. 21, Sherry and her loving husband, James (formerly of Rumford Point, Maine), would have been married 31 years. She loved reading watching sunsets at the beach, taking “Lucy” for walks, and staying connected with her daughters and grandsons with Skype.
Sherry will be sorely missed and will always be remembered for welcoming family and friends into her home. As she would say, “Check gloom and doom at the door, bring chocolate.”
In addition to her husband, Jim, Sherry is survived by their children, Nathan and his partner James of Plante City, Fla., Jessica (Kenneth) Patrin, Temple, N.H., and Heather (Zack) Woolford, Jaffery, N.H. Her special grandsons, Ayden Woolford and Conner Patria, as well as her brother, Alan Cackett, and sisters, Deborah Acerbi and Lisa Vitelli. She will also be missed by brother/sisters-in-law Eugene (Robin) Bartlett, Mobile, Ala., Garry (Margie) Bartlett, Hanover, Maine; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Advent Lutheran Church in Rindge, N.H.
