According to the weather forecast, we will have another rainy spell again! I am curious to hear how everyone's gardens are holding up. Let's keep thinking positive for a great summer ahead of us still. Case in point, I happened to read an article in the September 26, 1935, Rumford Falls Times, that Maine enjoyed the best summer business since 1930, despite cold, unseasonable weather prevailing during the first part of the vacation period.
Betty Ann Hastings told me that she and Sonny attended Cam Hastings’, son of Eric and Celeste, graduation from North Reading, Mass. He graduated with honors. Congratulations, Cam. In the fall he will attend Polytech in Worcester. For the remainder of the weekend, they stayed and visited with Jack and Julie Warwick in in Gilford, N.H. It was a very fun weekend.
Did we have other graduates in the neighborhood? Please, let me know so we may congratulate them. Call me at 824-3220 or e-mail email@example.com.
