We called on our friends, Gladys Lee and Forest Hammond this past Monday forenoon – we were on our way to entertain the residents at the Sandy River Rehab Center in Farmington so we left a little early so we could spend a few minutes with them. They are both well and busy in their garden. It was good to see them even if it was for only a short time.
Get well wishes to those who are not feeling up to par these days.
Family and friends gathered here on the 4th of July for a BBQ and friendship then we headed to Mexico where the band was scheduled for an outdoor summer concert, we were about to set up for the evening when the sky opened up with lightning and heavy rain. So we cancelled and drove home, we all gathered in the garage for some left over BBQ food and spent the evening talking and laughing and just enjoying our time together.
Happy Anniversary wishes to those who are celebrating this month.
That's all from the valley this week as I'm on my way out to the kitchen to make some goodies for band practice here tomorrow.
