Greetings once again from beautiful Albany. I am finally home after a busy summer of traveling and camping. I spent one week at First Roach Pond at Jen's family camp with Jen, Doug and Bella. Sister, Chris Cole joined us for a couple days. We had a good time despite the rainy weather.
Two days after we got back we packed up and headed to Sebasticook Lake in Newport where we camped while Doug and other teachers from SAD 44 attended a Three-day workshop at Nekomis High school. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the campground and our camper. Now we are all home getting ready for school to start on Aug. 28. It is nice to have the road paved all the way to the Waterford line.
Jane Wardwell took her nieces and great nieces to see Mary Poppins at the theater in Brunswick one day last week.
On Saturday, Jane Wardwell, Danni Jean Collins, and Heather Reynolds had a baby shower for Jessica Reynolds Nye at the Albany church.
Margaret Barton attended the Vintage Clothes Program on Friday. Norma Salway and her sisters put on a very nice program showing clothes from many years ago that they found in a trunk in her mother's attic. Guests also brought items to share. A nice lunch was served. Summer is drawing to a close and fall is lingering in the wings. I was happy to hear the crickets chirping away as I closed the windows last evening. Have a great weekend everyone!
