Do hope everyone is enjoying this just about perfect weather… cool temps at night for good sleeping, warming up during the day and a gentle breeze keeping the bugs away. Could we ask for more?
Gloria Crockett was gone all last weekend. Glad to see that she is starting to follow in her Mom's footsteps, haha. She and Esther went to visit their sister, Judy, in Surry. They had a wonderful time together.
Myself, I am pleased to say that I went to the Camp and Toby Walker cooked up some awesome ribs on the grill! Let's not forget the burgers and dogs (red, as they should be in Maine, LOL). Oh, and good corn and beans on the side. Afterwards I spent the night at Debbie and Owen Brown's. Sunday they took me along to Church and then to work. Thank you all so very much for a great weekend.
It is Trapper's Weekend!!! Neil, again, did a great job with signage etc. It will be another great weekend, learning, sharing, competing and families/friends spending some good time together.
This week, rather than the usual Trivia question, I will substitute a request for as much information as possible. MGM Trustee, Steve Seames, is looking for stories and memories and artifacts, such as bricks and brick molds for photographing for an exhibit on brick making in Bethel and Maine for a possible Museum/Village exhibit here in Bethel. Please, call me at 824-3220 or e-mail email@example.com. Let's help and be part of making this a success. Am looking forward to hear about this and, naturally, all your other news also.
Have a great week.
