I have enjoyed a nice peaceful weekend watching the Red Sox win and the Patriots losing to the Jets. That game was very stressful to watch as the Patriots were missing many of their best defensive linemen.
The last week has been very busy with a fifth grade trip to the Gulf of Maine Museum on the waterfront in Portland where we all learned more about our environment, life cycles of various sea creatures, weather, fishing industry and how they all work together. Grandparents’ day was on Friday and it was nice to see many people from Albany visiting their little ones. I visited Bella which made her very excited even though I work in the same building. We seldom see each other in school. I also visited Sierra and Jake Carson as their grandmothers are out of state.
Margaret Barton and Jane Wardwell went to the Ogunquit Play House to see the Life of Buddy Holley on Wednesday.
Irene Anderson called me today to tell me she went to Grandparents Day at CPS. I also had a visitor this morning, a beautiful bright red male cardinal. He was very interested in watching the other birds as they fed in the feeders on my porch. He did not come in he joined the Juncos and fed on the ground. I have had a cardinal stop by in the fall for the last several years but they never stick around for long. Have a great week everyone and enjoy these beautiful days as that white stuff is hiding around the corner.
