Seventeen days off, as my singing partner Leroy LeBlanc is spending some time in Florida with his son and grandchildren. I do miss the practices and spending time with the residents and Veterans. We will be back at it on Oct. 30.
My first Cardinal arrived yesterday; she spent most of the day at the feeder enjoying the fruit and nut mixture I combine for them. My hedges are full of red berries, so look forward to more birds spending time here this winter.

Got to cut this short as we’ve got to make a quick trip to Augusta on business.
That's all from the valley this week.
Y'all have a great week – please remember to get your flu shots.
