Greetings and hello from Albany Township. It looks like we may just have a white Christmas after all. If the snow we've been getting sticks around, that is. It was rather nice having warmer temps over the weekend, but some snow would be nice, too.
Recently I've been saying that nothing ever happens here in Albany, it's so quiet. I like that it's quiet, especially after this weekend. Apparently, there was a car crash and the subject took off. So, we have the Oxford Sheriff's Department scouring the neighborhood Saturday night. It was a bit disconcerting to say the least. They had all kinds of cars and dogs and lights going, checking folks' driveways and yards. We don't know if they caught him, but they were certainly busy trying to do so.
Christmas is this Saturday. We hope that everyone out there has a wonderful day with family and friends. Things are tight, still, and most likely will be for a while. We find ourselves not being able to do as we wanted to, but fortunately, the boys are happy to know that, regardless of how many gifts are waiting for them on Saturday, it's a Family Day, so we'll be spending time together. We hope that, regardless of how many gifts are under the tree, everyone out there finds their Christmas Day to be joyous, filled with love and the hope that the season is meant to convey.
Best wishes for a happy and safe week. Prayers for a happy Christmas Day. God Bless and Keep.
