Greetings and hello from Albany Township. I missed last week's deadline -- I know, big surprise. With the weather and how crazy the New Year has been, I'm hoping that it's a trend that won't continue.
We're hoping to get that snow that's been in the forecast now for days. I know some kids that would love to play out in it. Plus, that's extra work for Dana. In this day and age, every bit of work he gets is wonderful.
We hope that everyone out there is enjoying their New Year. New year, new beginnings. Many of us look to the start of a new year as a means to starting over, to do those things that we've always been meaning to. Just don't make those goals too impossible -- start small, take small steps, and then watch them continue to grow. At least, that's been my experience. Whenever I start off with a huge goal in mind, I always falter and fail. And then completely abandon that goal or project.
While out grocery shopping the other day we met John Holiday. He's always a pleasure to meet up with, always a kind word and cheerful smile. I can't recall a time when he's been down or depressing. We need more of those people in the world.
Best wishes for a happy and safe week. God Bless and Keep.
