The Whitman Memorial Library program for December will be held a week earlier this month. On Thursday, Dec. 6, Charlotte Winchester will lead a Christmas Craft project at the library at 2 p.m. – Christmas tree ornaments. Supplies will be provided; if you have a glue gun, please bring it. Public invited, no charge, light refreshments.
The Woodstock-Greenwood Senior Citizens will meet on Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Legion Hall, Locke's Mills for a meeting, dinner put on by the Legion Auxiliary and program by Forestdale School children. If you wish to exchange a gift, bring one, exchange of cards. Bring items for Food Pantry and Children for Christmas if you wish.
Franklin Grange held their November meeting at the hall on Nov. 17 with a dinner following. Next meeting is Dec. 8 at 10 a.m. at the Grange Hall, with dinner following. This is the Christmas Party, so bring a gift to exchange and cards if you wish.

Services at the Baptist Church are Sunday school at 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship at 10:30; Evening Service at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening at 6:30 is Prayer Meeting. Saturday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. the church will be decorated for the Christmas Season. On Dec. 11 our church will host the “Plant and Root Maine” rally at 7 p.m. Children's program is Dec. 16 at 6 p.m., Candlelight Service will be Dec. 23 at 6 p.m.

Maggie Hoyt and friend Whitney have been visiting her father, James Hoyt and family for a few days. She and Whitney were guests of her grandparents, Ken and Alice Hoyt, on Saturday. Joseph Hoyt and friend Kelsey were early Thanksgiving guests of his father, Mr. and Mrs. James Hoyt. They were overnight guests of his grandparents, Ken and Alice Hoyt.
