Three selectmen and Joe Bernier were present at the meeting on Tuesday. Selectmen discussed the need for a safe and the separation of the duties of treasurer from those of bookkeeper and those of town clerk. The town has been cited for not having a safe. Joe Bernier presented a proposal from the Historical Society concerning use of the second floor of the school building.
The Board discussed potential members for the Board of Appeals. The accessing of properties will begin in May. Their next meeting is May 11 at 7 p.m.
We’ve had our usual spring snow this past week with only a coupla inches accumulated.
In the Roxbury area, Deborah Judkins hit a moose with her car. She’s okay, but until her car is fixed, she’s sporting a fancy little thing with New York plates. Her cat needed to be rescued from a tree again. Ap-parently a passing motorist helped her out. You’ll have to call her for details! If the saying “The less routine, the more life” is true, Deb’s been living the last couple weeks.
The Ladies Aid members will meet Thursday at 6:30 p.m. for a sewing workshop.
