ROBERTA J. FERNALLD
Roberta J. Fernalld, 55, of 6 Main Street, Lenox, Mass., died Wednesday, July
21, 2010 at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, Mass.
Born in Rumford, Maine, June 16, 1955, the daughter of Robert J. Croteau and
the late Pauline Baker Croteau, she attended local schools, was a graduate
of Telstar Regional High School, and studied nursing in Berlin, N.H.
From 1984-87, she attended the former Stevens School of the Bible in Lenox,
Following Bible School she returned to Maine for a year where she was
employed in the healthcare field. A resident of Lenox for the past 21
years, she worked as a personal care attendant until forced to retire in
2007 due to ill health.
Mrs. Fernalld enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching movies, and surfing
She also loved writing and was a member of the Drama Club in High School
where she received more than a few ovations.
She and her husband, Scott E. Fernalld, were married Oct. 3, 1987, in

two brothers, Richard Croteau of Florida and Rex Croteau of Maine; one
sister, Regina Chayer of North Carolina; her good friend, David Poulsen, of
Lenox; and three nieces and five nephews as well as her dear pet "Buddy."
The funeral will be held on Aug. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Roche Funeral Home
in Lenox with the Rev. William Furey officiating. Private burial will be in
the family plot in Maine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
