"Tis the Season ... " and thus I can already tell you about some of the Holiday happenings.
This Saturday Esther Wilson will host the annual family Christmas Party at her house.
Bettyann Hastings went to North Reading, Mass., for a "Women's Day Out." They (Bettyann, Celeste Hastings, Julie Warwick, Ellen Franklin, Cathy Hastings, along with granddaughters Jennifer Hastings, Kathryn and Summer Franklin) had figured out a wonderful day to have a great time together. They went to see the Rockettes and the day also included tea at the 4 Seasons, shopping at Quincy Market and a tour of Christmas lights. Sounds to me like a lot of fun and maybe more of us girls should do something like that to ring in the Holidays.
I am pleased to let you know that Tonya Hebert Lewis and husband moved back to the area. This was great news for her parents, Paul and Kathy Hebert. Plus, as Tonya just recently got a puppy, they now have two grand puppies. Quite the presents to give your parents for Christmas, Tonya! Welcome back home from the whole neighborhood.
One reader wants me to write that he feels that the town should take better care of the roads in the east side of town during the winter. It is time again for all of us to remember and practice our winter driving skills. My Dad used to say, "anyone can drive fast, it takes more skill to know when to drive slow." So,drive safely, please.
I cannot wait to hear more about all the Holiday events and also more answers to the Trivia. Thus, as always make sure to call 824-3220 or e-mail email@example.com.
Enjoy this blessed Season
