Holiday Season news is still trickling in.
Cyndy Olson let me know that Kane was home from Dillingham, Alaska for Christmas. They had nine wonderful days with him. He packed lots into his visit. They celebrated Christmas with Cyndy's family in Otisfield. A few days later the Olsons got together at Cyndy and Chris's house for dinner and a bonfire. Kane got to see lots of family that he hadn't seen for a year and a half. He, Chris and Karl went to Greenville to visit and ice fish with a friend Kane worked with at Kanakanak Hospital.
All the wonderful news of this past season brings to mind a quote from country singer Garth Brooks, "You aren't wealthy until you have something money can't buy." Thus our neighborhood is very wealthy as family, friends, love, and caring can't be bought with money.
This week it is time again for a new Trivia question and am pretty sure who the first respondent will be. Thus if you want to prove me wrong you better call me at 824-3220 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your answers right away. Now here's the question: According to the February 15,1890 Town Report citizens put in a proposal to the selectmen, which never did materialize. What was it? So,let's see if someone can beat the record. I will keep you posted.
Have a great week.
