I didn't realize I was quite so predictable but I guess I am, either that or people expect to hear the worst when I call them. (Have to change that!). Anyhow, I called my sister-in-law and said "Well, I've had quite a day" and the first thing out of her mouth was "Oh, no, you didn't end up in the hospital again did you?" To which there was no other reply than, "Well, yes," to which she said, "Oh, Lorraine," and I hastened to reassure her that this time I was only there for a routine blood test.
Anyway, Owen Brown took me down and then we went on to the pet store in Auburn where he got some goldfish. I had a great time touring around the store and seeing all the birds and the ferrets and looking at all the outfits they have for dogs. Chloe would have fits. She doesn't even like to have a sweater put on her when it is cold.
I was sorry to see that the store here has closed. Crystal remarked how much our town had changed. We used to have three stores, and two eating places, and now we have no restaurant, and no grocery stores.
Unfortunately I am not much help when it comes to buying local because I am too busy putting my money into fuel oil, etc., and there is no much left to buy anything else.
Chloe is wanting me to hold her. I hope the new food she is on is not giving her a hard time. I would just as soon not have her sick again!
