Hot hazy and humid, sticky, irritable and lazy. That about describes these dog days of summer that have followed on the heels on rain, rain and more rain. Bring on the air conditioner! I have a hate love relationship with mine. I need it to breathe on these days, but don’t really like the feel and the noise makes it even harder to sleep than the heat. Saying that, I need to take a short break and cool down.
It is almost as hot in as out, except in the one air conditioned room. But as they say, this too shall pass. For now, I will do the important things early in the a.m. and maybe late at night. Saturday at work, I thought David was going to pass out. He looked worse than me. But we both made it through and now we can only hope it gets a little cooler. Five to 10 degrees would be fine with me.
