This will be short as it may already be too late to file. But here it is.
After much ado about nothing, Lefty finally decided to leave her tree. There are NO leaves on it so she walked around it, walked out to the compost pile and after much squawking and quacking from Gertrude, the two decided to go into their house all on their own. We watched from the shop, afraid to go out lest we distract them and they went back out. As soon as they were in, I shut the door for the night. Then it is out early, on my part, to let them out again. Hopefully they have the idea, now and will go in each night without trouble.
Had a visit yesterday, from Alva Morrison; he is up visiting and working on selling DVD’s of his dad’s train videos. I believe they are concentrating on 2-gauge ones. I may have that wrong, so do not quote me. In any case it was great to see Alva after all this time. He looks great.
