Waterford

May is ending and Memorial Day is upon us. Seems like it is not as big a deal as it once was, but it should be. We have more veterans now than ever and it seems they are not getting the recognition that they deserve.

Our house lags along. Although I hope it is done by the time you read this; I do not believe it will be. Last seen they were still mudding and taping and sanding. Still to go is painting and the floor. When that is done the bathrooms and the rest of the electric will be finished. It can’t come soon enough. I am going out of my mind. David is doing better than I am at this point. He just needs a TV to play with and he is happy. I want the whole enchilada. The heat is no help, either.

Next Monday is the fifth Monday, but I do not know if that means the knit and chat group will meet, but check with the library and find out. Probably there will be a parade and activities in the commons. I will check it out. You should too.

It is late and that is all for the week. I know it is too short, but next week will be June and a new beginning.

Have a great holiday and a great week.
