At last some rain to green the lawns. The past week was almost perfect with warm days and cooler nights. One morning the Cotton Tops were wearing sweaters to start the walk but most shed them before finishing the two miles.
On Sunday, Aug. 29, the Rev Scott Jones will conduct the service at the West Sumner Unitarian Universalist Church at 11 a.m. There will be christenings during the service. A Chinese auction will be held during the coffee hour. All are welcome.
Cynthia Lamb entertained family on Sunday. Those present were Natalie Morse, Nathan, Angela and Landon Morse, Mandy Malonson and Bruce and Lily.
Last week my basement was insulated with foam, so Muffin and I spent the a.m. in the camper. She was not happy. We had our lunch there and pretended we were camping. By mid afternoon all was aired out and we returned to the house.
For years I have been writing about my life bit by bit and now have it ready for the first critic to go over. There are now about eighty pages with many episodes to be added. One event leads to other events so there is no end in sight. With the computer the events through the years can easily be added in anywhere. My children asked for this for their Christmas present. Hours of writing and rewriting!
